We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 teacher to join our team from September 2026. This is a full-time post at a well-established, two-form entry primary school in Burnley with a strong reputation in the local area. Our school benefits from good facilities and a positive, supportive atmosphere. Pupils here enjoy coming to school and have a genuinely positive attitude towards their learning, which makes teaching both rewarding and enjoyable.

We are keen to hear from teachers who are keen to make a difference in the classroom and who are committed to helping children achieve their best. You will be joining a friendly staff team where planning is shared across the year group, and there is a strong sense of working together.

The role will involve:

  • Teaching a Key Stage 2 class

  • Working closely with your parallel class teacher and wider team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
