We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive school. This rewarding role involves working closely with teachers to support pupils' learning, development, and wellbeing across the classroom.
The successful candidate will play a key role in helping children reach their full potential by providing academic support, encouraging positive behaviour, and creating an inclusive learning environment.

About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
- Assist in preparing classroom resources and learning materials.
- Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Encourage pupil participation, independence, and confidence in learning.
- Support children with varying abilities and additional needs when required.
- Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to the class teacher.
- Supervise pupils during break times, trips, and school activities as required.
- Promote positive behaviour and support the school's safeguarding policies.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
- A Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3) is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, caring, and adaptable approach.
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
