Teaching Personnel is working closely with secondary schools locally and is seeking enthusiastic Geography teachers to join our supply and long-term teaching pool with immediate availability. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers, Early Career Teachers (ECTs), or experienced Humanities specialists who are committed to engaging students and bringing geography to life in the classroom.
Responsibilities- Teach Geography across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)
- Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons
- Differentiating learning to meet a range of abilities
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Work collaboratively with Humanities departments and school staff
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it (ECTs welcome)
- Strong subject knowledge in Geography
- Ability to inspire and motivate learners
- Confident classroom management and clear communication skills
- Adaptable, reliable, and enthusiastic
- Experience teaching Geography in UK secondary schools is desirable but not essential
