You will be sharing responsibility for a Year 4 class with another experienced teacher, working closely together to plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons. The school has a supportive leadership team, a strong focus on collaboration and a friendly, nurturing environment.

The Role

  • Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Sharing responsibility for a Year 4 class with your job share partner
  • Assessing pupil progress and providing feedback to support learning
  • Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN
  • Supporting pupils with special educational needs and adapting your approach to meet individual requirements
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • Contributing to the wider school community and curriculum development

We Are Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Experience teaching in a UK primary school
  • Strong experience working with children with SEN
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
