Are you an experienced and confident Primary Teacher looking for a full time Year 3 role in a lovely Bristol school? We are working with a warm, welcoming primary school in the BS34 area that is seeking a Year 3 Teacher to join their team on a full time basis. The school has a supportive, inclusive atmosphere, values its staff highly and is looking for someone who can provide consistency, strong behaviour management and high quality teaching in Key Stage 2.
The Role
- Take full responsibility for a Year 3 class
- Plan, deliver and assess engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
- Create a positive, stimulating classroom environment that supports progress for all learners
- Use assessment to track progress and inform next steps in learning
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies and maintain a calm, focused learning environment
- Work closely with support staff to maximise learning and wellbeing for all pupils
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers and communicate progress effectively
- Contribute to the wider life and ethos of this friendly, community focused school
What We Are Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong, recent experience teaching in primary, ideally Lower KS2
- Proven behaviour management skills and the ability to hit the ground running
- Good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and effective classroom practice
- Confident classroom management and clear, positive communication skills
- A proactive, reflective teacher who is committed to high standards and pupil outcomes
