Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant with a passion for supporting children with SEN in a mainstream setting? We're working with a brilliant primary school in the BS13 area of Bristol that's looking for a dedicated Year 2 LSA to join their team from the start of June 2025 (after half term).

The Role:

  • Full-time Year 2 Learning Support Assistant in a welcoming mainstream primary school in BS13
  • Supporting children with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) within the classroom
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support and interventions
  • Helping to create an inclusive, nurturing learning environment where every child can thrive
  • Full-time, school hours, term time only
  • Start date: 1st June 2025

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have previous experience supporting children with SEN in a mainstream primary school
  • Be confident working with Year 2 children, including small group and 1:1 work
  • Be patient, resilient, and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Have strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping children reach their potential
