We are working with a fantastic primary school in the BS48 area that is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full time, long term basis. This is a warm, welcoming school with supportive staff and a real community feel. The setting is collaborative and friendly, and the leadership team is committed to staff wellbeing and professional development.
The role would be ideal for candidates with previous experience or graduates with degrees in Early Childhood Studies, Psychology, Education Studies, Child Development, Sports Coaching or similar who are looking to build a career in education.
Responsibilities- Full time Teaching Assistant
- Starting September, with opportunities to start now
- Long term position with the potential to continue
- Supporting teaching and learning across the school
- Working with small groups and 1:1 where needed
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Working collaboratively as part of a supportive team
- Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery or similar setting, or a relevant degree
- Passionate about supporting children's learning and development
