We are looking for a confident and adaptable Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work across two primary schools in the BS39 area. This role involves supporting classes across all primary year groups and would suit someone who enjoys variety and is happy to be flexible.

A driving licence and access to a vehicle would be ideal as the role is split between two sites.

  • Providing high quality support across different year groups in primary
  • Leading small group interventions and covering classes when required
  • Supporting pupils with their learning, behaviour and engagement
  • Working closely with class teachers and senior staff to deliver planned activities
  • Building positive relationships with pupils and staff across both schools
  • Adapting quickly to different classroom environments and age groups

Qualifications and Experience:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
  • Experience working across primary year groups
  • Confidence leading groups and covering whole classes
  • A flexible and positive approach
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Reliability and professionalism
  • A driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
