We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming school in the BS7 area of Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils both academically and socially, helping them to reach their full potential in a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs
- Assist the teacher in delivering engaging lessons
- Support pupils with additional learning needs, including SEN
- Encourage confidence, independence, and engagement in learning
- Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing within the classroom
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or young people
- A positive, patient, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Previous school or SEN experience is desirable but not essential
