Do you want a role where your presence genuinely matters? Teaching Personnel is seeking caring, reliable individuals to support pupils with special educational needs on a one-to-one basis. This is a meaningful opportunity to help children aged 5-16 feel supported, understood, and confident in their learning. Students you'll work with may have a range of needs, including mental health challenges, physical disabilities, communication difficulties, or behavioural needs. You don't need formal qualifications - what matters most is empathy, patience, and a willingness to learn.
Start: ASAP (ongoing throughout the academic year)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, term time only
Hours: Typically 8:30am-3:30pm (may vary by school)
Progression: Potential for a permanent contract
- Provide dedicated one-to-one support to help a pupil access learning
- Work alongside the class teacher to adapt activities to individual needs
- Support Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
- Build a trusting, consistent relationship that helps pupils feel safe and motivated
- Assist with classwork, routines, and emotional regulation
A genuine interest in supporting children and young people
- Calm, patient, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with children is helpful but not essential - full support and training provided
Weekly pay via PAYE (no umbrella company deductions)
Access to ongoing CPD and training, including Team Teach
£50 referral bonus for successful referrals
