Are you a passionate and energetic PE Teacher looking to inspire young learners across all primary year groups? We are working with a fantastic primary school in BS4 who are seeking an enthusiastic PE specialist to join their team in September. This is a brilliant opportunity for a PE teacher who loves working with children of all ages and wants to make a real impact on their physical development, confidence and wellbeing. The school has excellent sports facilities, a strong commitment to physical education and a supportive leadership team.
You will be responsible for delivering high quality PE lessons across the whole school, from Reception through to Year 6. The school values creativity, inclusivity and a love of sport, and they are looking for someone who shares that passion.
The Role
- Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive PE lessons across all primary year groups
- Teaching a broad range of sports and physical activities including gymnastics, athletics, team games and dance
- Assessing pupil progress and providing feedback to support physical development
- Promoting healthy lifestyles, teamwork and sportsmanship
- Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND
- Supporting pupils with special educational needs and adapting activities to ensure full participation
- Organising and leading extracurricular sports clubs and school competitions
- Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Contributing to the wider school community and supporting school sports events
We Are Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- A PE specialism or relevant sports coaching qualifications
- Experience teaching PE across primary age groups in a UK school
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for PE
- Experience working with children with SEND
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Energy, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for physical education
- A commitment to promoting inclusivity and participation for all pupils
