We are working with primary schools across South Bristol who are looking for PE teachers for both part time and full time roles from September. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves inspiring young people to be active, healthy and confident through sport and physical education.
The role:
- Planning and delivering engaging PE lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
- Teaching a range of sports and physical activities to children of all abilities
- Making lessons fun, inclusive and accessible for every child
- Assessing pupil progress and providing feedback to support development
- Promoting a positive attitude towards health, fitness and wellbeing
- Supporting extracurricular sports clubs and activities where possible
- Working collaboratively with class teachers and the wider school team
What we are looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant sports coaching qualification
- Experience teaching PE in a primary school setting
- A passion for sport and physical education
- The ability to engage and motivate children of all ages and abilities
- Strong behaviour management skills
- An enhanced DBS check (we can help you apply for this if you do not have one)
