We’re hiring Secondary MFL Teachers in Bristol.

Full-Time / Part-Time | Flexible Supply with Permanent Opportunities | Key Stage 3 & 4 Languages: French, Spanish, German (all specialisms welcome)

Are you passionate about languages and inspiring young people to communicate confidently in another language? We’re looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Secondary MFL Teachers in Bristol who are seeking flexible supply work, with the opportunity to progress into long-term or permanent roles.

The Role:
  • Deliver engaging MFL lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Teach your specialist language(s), with opportunities for general MFL teaching
  • Develop students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
  • Encourage cultural awareness and a love of languages
  • Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND
  • Maintain positive classroom behaviour and an inclusive learning environment
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Work collaboratively with MFL departments, support staff, and parents
  • Gain experience across a range of school settings through supply placements

Experience & Requirements:
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or pending QTS
  • Degree or strong subject knowledge in French, Spanish, German, or another MFL
  • Experience teaching MFL at KS3 and/or KS4 (including during training)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new school environments
  • Commitment to inclusive and high-quality education
  • Enhanced Child-Only DBS (or willingness to apply)
