Are you a qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for your next school? I am recruiting for Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistants to support mainstream secondary schools across Central and South Bristol. I’m particularly interested in experienced TAs who are confident stepping into a school environment, understand how to support learning effectively and can build positive relationships with secondary-aged students. Opportunities range from general classroom support to 1:1 SEND, intervention and inclusion-based roles, allowing us to find a setting that suits your strengths and experience.
About the Role
- Supporting students across KS3 and KS4
- Providing targeted 1:1 and small-group support
- Supporting students with SEND, including Autism and ADHD
- Helping students understand tasks and remain engaged with learning
- Delivering literacy, numeracy or targeted interventions
- Adapting resources and activities to meet individual learning needs
- Promoting confidence, independence and positive classroom participation
- Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation where required
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teaching staff
