We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the BS34 area of Bristol. This role would suit someone with experience working with children who is looking to support pupils in Key Stage 2. What You Will Be Doing:
- Supporting children across Key Stage 2 (Years 3 to 6)
- Assisting the class teacher with lessons and classroom activities
- Providing small group and individual support to help children with their learning
- Supporting children with reading, writing, maths and phonics
- Building positive relationships with children, staff and parents
- Supporting children with additional needs where required
- Helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment
- Monitoring progress and providing feedback to the class teacher

- Experience working with children in a school or educational setting (paid or voluntary)
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning
- A patient, positive and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability and professionalism
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
