A lovely primary school in the North Somerset area is looking for a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a full time role working within a warm and supportive KS1 setting.
About the School
This is a welcoming, community focused primary school where staff genuinely enjoy coming to work. The team is experienced, friendly and passionate about giving children the best possible start to their education. The school prides itself on its inclusive culture and supportive leadership.
You will be based in KS1, working alongside the class teacher to support children in their early primary years, 3 days a week. Your days will be varied and rewarding, helping to deliver creative, engaging learning experiences while supporting children as they develop key skills, friendships and confidence.
- Support the delivery of differentiated learning activities in KS1
- Help children develop their communication, social, literacy and numeracy skills
- Assist with classroom routines and transitions throughout the day
- Prepare resources and help maintain an engaging learning environment
- Encourage positive behaviour and support children's emotional wellbeing
- Work closely with colleagues, parents and carers to support each child's progress
Requirements:
- Has experience working with children in KS1 or primary settings
- Understands how young children learn best and can follow the KS1 curriculum
- Is calm, patient and nurturing in your approach
- Communicates well with children and adults alike
- Enjoys being part of a team and brings a positive attitude each day
A full time KS1 Teaching Assistant role starting as soon as possible with a supportive school environment. Daily rate from £92, paid weekly via PAYE. Flexible working and CPD and training opportunities through Teaching Personnel. A dedicated consultant who knows the local schools and supports you every step of the way.
