A warm and welcoming primary school in Bath is seeking a dedicated and caring Nursery Nurse to join their team. If you have a Level 3 qualification in childcare and a love for supporting the development of young children, we would love to hear from you! Equally, if you don't hold a Level 3 qualification but have completed your Paediatric First Aid (within the last 12 months), then we would also welcome your application.
- Provide high-quality care and education for children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Support the physical, emotional, and social development of children aged 0-5.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can thrive.
- Observe and assess each child’s development, maintaining accurate records and contributing to individual learning plans.
- Work closely with parents and caregivers, providing feedback on their child’s progress and addressing any concerns.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery day.
- Follow safeguarding procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
Ideally, a Level 3 qualification in childcare (such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, CACHE Level 3, or equivalent) is required. Previous experience working in an early years setting is highly desirable. A genuine love for working with young children and supporting their development is essential. Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework is necessary. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is crucial.
