Teaching Personnel are working closely with a specialist SEND school in the Brighton & Hove area who are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Child Support Leader to join their team on a full-time basis. The school supports both primary and secondary-aged pupils with a range of complex additional needs, including Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). They are looking for someone who is confident, compassionate and proactive, with a genuine passion for supporting children and young people with SEND.
As a Child Support Leader, you will step into a full-time position and work closely with the school's SEND pupils across both the primary and secondary phases. You will provide tailored support on both a 1:1 and small-group basis, helping pupils engage with their learning, develop their independence and feel safe and supported throughout the school day. Due to the nature of the setting, you must be comfortable working alongside pupils with PMLD and be able to adapt your approach to meet each pupil's individual needs.
