Teaching Assistants Required - Full Time | Bridgend | September 2026 Start

Full-time | £93-99 per day

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work on a full-time basis at a local Comprehensive School from September 2026. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about supporting young people in their education and helping them achieve their full potential within a secondary school environment.

The Role

  • Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects.
  • Working with pupils on a one‑to‑one basis and in small groups.

  • Contributing to a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience working within a secondary school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
  • Knowledge of strategies to support students with a range of learning, behavioural or emotional needs.
  • Relevant qualifications in Education, Childcare, Youth Work or a related field.
