Are you a friendly and reliable individual looking for flexible work supporting children outside of school hours? We are working with a lovely primary school in the BA13 area who are looking for a Breakfast Club and After School Club Assistant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children in a relaxed, informal setting and wants a role that fits around other commitments.
The Role:
- Supervising children during breakfast club and after school club sessions
- Setting up and supporting breakfast provision in a safe and hygienic manner
- Organising and leading fun, engaging activities and games
- Supporting children's social skills and building positive relationships
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care
- Liaising with parents and carers at drop off and pick up
- Helping to maintain a clean, tidy and welcoming environment
We Are Looking For:
- Experience working with children in a school, childcare or similar setting (desirable)
- A warm, patient and reliable approach
- Paediatric First Aid qualification would be beneficial but is not essential
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Reliability, professionalism and a commitment to safeguarding
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
