As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting classroom teachers in providing the best support possible to students aged 16-25 years old with primary diagnoses such as:

  • High functioning Autism
  • Mental health difficulties (SEMH)
  • Complex needs
  • Has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)

Who We Are Looking For:

  • SEN / Autism based experience in or out of an educational setting
  • Mental health experience in or out of an educational setting
  • Understanding of challenging behaviours
  • Understanding of positive behaviour support strategies
  • Able to de-escalate challenging situations calmly and safely
