About the Role

I am working with an independent specialist school seeking a Receptionist / Administrator to join their busy school office team. This is a key front-of-house role, acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and professionals, while also supporting a wide range of administrative and operational tasks to ensure the smooth running of the school day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming visitors, parents, contractors, and delivery staff
  • Handling calls, emails, and general school communications
  • Supporting attendance monitoring and first-day absence calls
  • Maintaining accurate pupil records, databases, and registers
  • Supporting safeguarding procedures for all visitors
  • Processing deliveries, stock, and school resources
  • Assisting with lunches, trips, and school events
  • Processing payments and recording contributions
  • Providing general administrative support to the school office and leadership team
