Role: KS1 Teacher

Contract: Full Time (8:30am – 3:30pm)

Salary: £550 – £750 per week

Location: Bournemouth, Dorset

Are you an Early Career Teacher looking to build confidence and experience in the classroom? Or perhaps you are returning to teaching or seeking a fresh opportunity in a new school environment? The Dorset Primary Branch at Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teachers to support our partner mainstream primary schools in the Bournemouth area.

The role will include:

  • Delivering high-quality teaching to KS1 pupils (ages 5–7) in line with the National Curriculum
  • Planning and delivering creative, engaging and differentiated lessons
  • Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual learning needs
  • Using a range of teaching strategies to promote active learning and independence
  • Maintaining a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
  • Upholding safeguarding responsibilities in line with school policies

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (ECTs are encouraged to apply)
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be committed, adaptable and passionate about primary education
  • Show a genuine desire to make a positive impact on young learners
