Are you an Early Career Teacher looking to build confidence and experience in the classroom? Or perhaps you are returning to teaching or seeking a fresh opportunity in a new school environment? The Dorset Primary Branch at Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teachers to support our partner mainstream primary schools in the Bournemouth area.
The role will include:
- Delivering high-quality teaching to KS1 pupils (ages 5–7) in line with the National Curriculum
- Planning and delivering creative, engaging and differentiated lessons
- Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual learning needs
- Using a range of teaching strategies to promote active learning and independence
- Maintaining a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
- Upholding safeguarding responsibilities in line with school policies
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (ECTs are encouraged to apply)
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be committed, adaptable and passionate about primary education
- Show a genuine desire to make a positive impact on young learners
