Location: Bournemouth | Start Date: Immediate | Contract: Full time, until July (with opportunity for a permanent role)

This is a full-time position starting immediately, running for the remainder of the academic year until July, with a strong possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and creative Dance lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Plan, prepare and assess in line with the national curriculum
  • Inspire students to develop confidence, creativity and technical skill
  • Contribute positively to the wider performing arts department and school community

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Dance at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)
  • Strong classroom management skills and a passion for performing arts
  • Enthusiastic, reliable and committed to student progress
  • Newly Qualified Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers are welcome to apply
