This is a full-time position starting immediately, running for the remainder of the academic year until July, with a strong possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and creative Dance lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
- Plan, prepare and assess in line with the national curriculum
- Inspire students to develop confidence, creativity and technical skill
- Contribute positively to the wider performing arts department and school community
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Dance at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)
- Strong classroom management skills and a passion for performing arts
- Enthusiastic, reliable and committed to student progress
- Newly Qualified Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers are welcome to apply
