Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join one of our welcoming mainstream primary schools in Bournemouth from September. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity supporting a child on a 1:1 basis, making a meaningful difference to their educational journey and helping them reach their full potential in a supportive classroom environment.
The Role
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a pupil who requires additional support to access learning, build confidence, and develop both academically and socially. You'll work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies and create a positive learning experience.

- Monday to Friday
- Full-time
- Typical school hours (approximately 8:30am – 3:30pm)
- Starting September 2026
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery, or care setting.
- Experience supporting children with additional needs, including SEND, is desirable but not essential.
- A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for helping children succeed.
