Our client secondary school in Bolton are currently looking for a Caretaker to join their site team with an ASAP start.

  • Full-time role
  • Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
  • £15 - £18.50 per hour depending on experience

The main purpose of this role is to ensure that all school facilities are in excellent and safe condition with the highest possible standards of cleanliness for use by pupils, staff and visitors.

Main responsibilities:

  • Opening and closing of school building
  • Cleaning duties/Emptying Bins
  • Movement of equipment and furniture around school
  • General maintenance of the school and surroundings
  • Checking fire equipment
  • Maintaining ground maintenance
  • Cleaning and ensuring lighting is fitted correctly

The incoming Caretaker will ideally have experience in a similar role previously and any school based experience is desirable. The school is based in the BL1 area and is accessible via car and public transport from surrounding areas such as central Bolton, Farnworth and Horwich. The school is also accessible from Bury and Wigan.
