Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming SEN primary school in the Bolton area, seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. This specialist school supports pupils with moderate additional needs, including moderate learning difficulties (MLD), autism spectrum condition (ASC) and speech and language needs, providing a nurturing environment where pupils are supported to thrive academically and emotionally.
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and personalised learning to pupils across the primary age range, ensuring each child’s individual needs are met through creative and inclusive teaching.
- Planning and delivering differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with moderate needs
- Creating and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and personalised learning strategies
- Working closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists and external professionals
- Monitoring pupil progress and maintaining accurate records and assessments
- Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils, parents and carers
- Supporting pupils’ social development, independence and confidence

- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential)
