We are currently seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Intervention Assistant to join a specialist SEMH/PRU school in Bolton on a full-time basis. This is a rewarding opportunity for experienced education professionals who are passionate about supporting young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
- Supporting students with challenging behaviour and SEMH needs
- Working closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to promote positive behaviour
- Delivering targeted behaviour interventions and emotional support
- Building strong, positive relationships with pupils
- Supporting students both inside and outside the classroom
- Helping maintain a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
- Previous experience working within SEMH schools, PRUs, or alternative provisions
- Must have previous experience through Teaching Personnel or similar education staffing agencies
- Confident supporting vulnerable students with additional needs
- Full-time availability only
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Team Teach or similar behaviour management training
- Experience supporting students with ASD, ADHD, or trauma-related behaviours
- Background in youth work, support work, or education settings
