Do you have experience working with SEN pupils? Do you want to work in a positive but challenging environment? An opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a Y5 pupil.

Start date: ASAP

Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm

Daily rate: £92 - £110 (Dependent on Qualification and Experience)

To be considered for this position you must have:

  • Teaching assistant qualification or at least 6 months experience
  • Experience working with SEN pupils
  • Be resilient, firm but fair and show empathy and encouragement
  • Available full time from May 2026
  • Great ability to interact with pupils and keep them engaged

The Role:

  • Full time role, Monday - Friday 8.30am-3.30pm
  • School based in Blyth
  • Working within KS2 Team and SENDCO, supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis with SEND
  • Summer Term Role, with potential to be extended
