Responsibilities
- Adhere to the school's safeguarding policies and procedures
- Deliver targeted intervention support to pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Support pupils in overcoming barriers to learning and improving engagement
- Work closely with teachers to identify learning needs and track pupil progress
- Create a positive and encouraging environment where pupils can thrive
- Adapt to situations as they arise, demonstrating flexibility and initiative
- Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils and school staff
Qualifications
- Evidence of right to work in the UK
- Must possess an Enhanced Child Only DBS Certificate
- Registered with the EWC (Education Workforce Council)
- At least two professional references covering 24 months
Previous Experience
Previous experience supporting pupils in an educational setting or delivering interventions is desirable; however, we also welcome applications from individuals with transferable skills, relevant personal experience, or a genuine passion for supporting young people and improving educational outcomes.
