We are partnering a well-established and forward-thinking secondary school based in Blackwood, to appoint an experienced and highly motivated Welsh Teacher to start September 2026. This role would suit a confident classroom practitioner with a proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and maintaining excellent standards of behaviour and engagement. The successful candidate will play a key role within a supportive department and contribute to the continued development of Welsh across the school.
The role:
- Deliver consistently high standards of teaching and learning across KS3 and KS4
- Plan and implement engaging, differentiated lessons that support pupil progress and attainment
- Use assessment data effectively to inform practice and raise achievement
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
- Uphold high expectations around behaviour, engagement and academic outcomes
