We are seeking an experienced, friendly, and highly organised School Receptionist to join a busy, welcoming two-form entry primary school in Blackrod from October. As the first point of contact for visitors, parents, pupils, and staff, you will be the face and voice of the school. This is a busy front-of-house role within a large primary school, so we are looking for someone who is professional, approachable, and able to provide an exceptional reception and administrative service while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.
Qualifications
- Have previous experience working within a school office (essential).
- Be confident using Arbor, SIMS, and ParentPay.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be organised, proactive, and able to manage a busy workload.
- Remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- Be committed to providing outstanding customer service to pupils, parents, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming visitors and managing the school's reception.
- Answering telephone calls and responding to emails professionally.
- Supporting parents with enquiries and providing excellent customer service.
- Assisting teaching and support staff with a range of administrative tasks.
- Organising school trips, including paperwork and parent communications.
- Maintaining accurate pupil records and school databases.
- Using Arbor, SIMS, and ParentPay to support the day-to-day administration of the school.
- Completing general office duties to ensure the efficient running of the school.
