We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in the Fylde Coast area. This full-time role is ideal for a passionate educator who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and inspiring students across KS3 and KS4. About the Role
The successful candidate will deliver engaging Geography lessons, support student progress, and contribute to the wider school community. You will be joining a friendly, collaborative team with strong leadership and excellent behaviour support structures in place.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4
- Plan and deliver high-quality, stimulating lessons
- Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback
- Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Participate in school duties and meetings as required
The Ideal Candidate
- Must have a Geography qualification (Geography degree or related subject essential)
- A qualified teacher (QTS, QTLS or working toward)
- Strong subject knowledge in Geography
- Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Passionate about supporting student achievement
- Reliable, organised, and able to commit to a full-time schedule Monday–Friday
