Teaching Personnel is recruiting dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants and SEN Learning Support Assistants for full-time, temporary positions starting in September. We are supporting leading Primary and Secondary SEN settings across Lewisham, Bexley, and Greenwich that prioritise community, individual progress, and functional learning.
These roles offer the opportunity to make a lasting difference over a full academic year. You will work alongside experienced class teachers and specialist staff, delivering tailored 1:1 and small group interventions, assisting with classroom management, and supporting pupils' emotional and educational growth. The schools value respect, equity, and a person-centred approach, providing safe environments where every learner can flourish.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 1:1 and group support for pupils with varied SEN across Primary or Secondary phases
- Assist class teachers with lesson delivery, tailored resources, and classroom management
- Promote positive behaviour, emotional resilience, and independent life skills
- Support communication strategies and individual learning targets
- Undertake additional classroom duties specific to the needs of the setting
- Full-time temporary placements for one full academic year starting in September
- Varied roles across Mainstream Primary and Specialised Secondary SEN schools

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
