Are you a qualified maths teacher seeking a new, exciting position? We are working in collaboration with a mainstream secondary school within the Acocks Green area (B27) of Birmingham to appoint a maths teacher into their dynamic and welcoming maths department.
If you:
- hold a UK QTS
- have a bachelor's degree in mathematics
- have recent, relevant experience teaching maths within a UK secondary school
- have experience with planning and marking to a high standard
- have strong classroom presence and excellent behaviour management skills

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Full planning and marking of a range of maths lessons covering all year groups and various set/abilities
- Engaging all pupils within the class regardless of learning style or ability
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring all children are on task
- Safeguarding at all times, always following schools policies and procedures
- Regularly assessing pupil's progress and providing insightful feedback
- Collaborating with colleagues within the department and wider school environment
