The Opportunity You'll be supporting established nursery teams during periods of staff absence, increased occupancy, and seasonal demand. Each placement offers the chance to build relationships with children, contribute to engaging learning experiences, and become part of welcoming early years settings that prioritise child development and wellbeing. Many of the nurseries you'll support are known for their excellent reputation with families, purpose-built learning environments, outdoor play provision, and strong focus on nurturing children's confidence, independence, and social skills. Applicants do not need to be based in Birkenhead, provided they can travel reliably to local nursery settings across the area. Options for morning, afternoon and full day shifts are available.
