Are you interested in Early Years education and are looking for flexible work that could fit around your other commitments? We are currently recruiting Bank EYFS Practitioners (Nursery Assistant) to support a welcoming, community‑feel nursery based in Birkenhead.

About the nursery:

  • Strong relationships built between parents and key workers.
  • Large outdoor environments available to encourage outdoor play and exploration.
  • Each child is considered unique and is provided bespoke support depending on their needs.

About the role:

  • Deliver high quality care and learning in line with the EYFS Framework.
  • Support all children’s development through play, structured activities and observations.
  • Maintain a clear, clean and safe environment for all children.
  • Follow the correct safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
  • Be able to communicate appropriately with children and all other colleagues.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience working in an EYFS setting (Nurseries, Reception class etc.) or alternatively any experience working with children in any type of setting.
  • Ability to take a nurturing, forward‑thinking and adaptable approach.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or alternatively the willingness to obtain one).
  • Content to complete our EYFS CPD training.
  • Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification (desirable).
