Are you passionate about Early Years education and are looking for a flexible role that can fit in with your pre-planned arrangements? We are currently recruiting bank EYFS practitioners to provide support to a vibrant and welcoming nursery in the heart of Birkenhead.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care and learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Support each child’s development through active play, appropriate planned activities and observations of the children.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating environment for everyone in the setting.
  • Follow safeguarding and health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with all children, staff and parents.

About the Nursery:

  • Warm, welcoming, home from home atmospheres with multiple areas to play including a soft playroom.
  • Unique outdoor classroom space which allows fresh air learning and exploration of new environments.
  • Seasonal menu available that includes healthy and nutritious meals.
  • Free-flow areas that allow movement for children between different activities.
  • Separate pre-school setting which prepares children for Primary school.
  • Highly trained and qualified members of staff available who have safeguarding and first aid training.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience working in an EYFS setting (Nurseries, Reception class etc.) or alternatively any experience working with children in any type of setting.
  • Ability to take a nurturing, forward-thinking and adaptable approach.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or alternatively the willingness to obtain one).
  • Content to complete our EYFS CPD training.
  • Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification (desirable).

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date. Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
