We are seeking enthusiastic tutors to provide personalised one‑to‑one tuition for students who require additional academic support.
This rewarding role offers the opportunity to help learners build confidence, improve attainment, and achieve their full potential in a supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons tailored to each student's individual learning needs.
- Adapt teaching methods and resources to support different learning styles and abilities.
- Deliver high‑quality one‑to‑one tuition in core subjects such as English, Maths and Science.
- Support students with a range of learning needs, including SEN, SEMH, ASD and ADHD where required.
- Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to schools, parents and the agency.
- Build positive relationships that promote confidence, engagement and a love of learning.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress and session outcomes.
Qualifications
- Experience teaching or tutoring children and young people.
- A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE or equivalent) is desirable but not essential with relevant tutoring experience.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- Experience supporting students with SEN or additional learning needs is advantageous.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Access to your own transport is desirable.
