We are seeking enthusiastic tutors to provide personalised one‑to‑one tuition for students who require additional academic support.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons tailored to each student's individual learning needs.
  • Adapt teaching methods and resources to support different learning styles and abilities.
  • Deliver high‑quality one‑to‑one tuition in core subjects such as English, Maths and Science.
  • Support students with a range of learning needs, including SEN, SEMH, ASD and ADHD where required.
  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to schools, parents and the agency.
  • Build positive relationships that promote confidence, engagement and a love of learning.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress and session outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Experience teaching or tutoring children and young people.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE or equivalent) is desirable but not essential with relevant tutoring experience.
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
  • Experience supporting students with SEN or additional learning needs is advantageous.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Access to your own transport is desirable.
