Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential? We are recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school from September 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Support the classroom teacher in delivering creative and engaging lessons
  • Work with individual students and small groups to support learning and development
  • Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources
  • Provide support for students with additional learning needs
  • Encourage positive behaviour and promote a safe, inclusive environment
  • Monitor and report on student progress and well-being

What we’re looking for

  • A passion for working with children or young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and positive approach to supporting learning
  • The ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
  • Previous experience working in a school or similar setting (desirable but not essential)
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
