Teaching Personnel are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a range of specialist settings, including:
- SEN Schools
- SEMH & Behaviour Provisions
- PMLD Settings
- Residential Care Homes
- Through Schools (Ages 2–19)
The Role:
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Assisting with learning, behaviour and emotional regulation
- Providing personal care where required
- Working closely with teaching and support staff
Hours: Typically 8:30am–3:30pm (or equivalent)
Requirements:
- Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults
- Positive, resilient and adaptable approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
- Team Teach training desirable
- Full-time desirable
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle desirable
