Who We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from candidates with experience or transferable skills such as:
- SEMH Teaching Assistants / Behaviour Mentors
- Experience in PRUs (Pupil Referral Units) or ARPs (Alternative Resource Provisions)
- Youth Workers with strong behaviour management skills
- Psychology Graduates looking to gain school-based experience
- Sports Coaches (discipline, structure and engagement focus)
- Graduates
Your Role Will Include:
- Supporting pupils who display challenging behaviour
- Building positive relationships and acting as a role model
- Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions
- Promoting emotional regulation and resilience
- Working closely with teaching staff and SEN teams
Requirements:
- Experience working with young people (formal or informal)
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Resilient, patient and proactive attitude
- Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one)
