We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Specialist Behaviour and Support Mentor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students with behavioural challenges, helping them engage positively with their education and develop essential life skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students with behavioural needs.
- Develop and implement individualized behaviour support plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support student progress.
- Monitor and report on student behaviour and progress.
- Create a positive and inclusive school environment.
- Deliver training and support to staff on behaviour management strategies.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field.
- Experience working with secondary school students with behavioural needs.
- Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
This is a temporary position, with potential for permanency later. Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding children.
