Contract: Temp to Perm
Hours: Term Time Only
Monday, Tuesday 4:20pm
Wednesday: 8:30am 5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am 2:30pm
Approx. 35+ hours per week
About the Role
Raise Education 19 with SEMH, ASC and complex behavioural and emotional needs, helping them to regulate emotions, re-engage with learning and develop positive coping strategies in a structured, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group behaviour intervention support
- Support pupils with emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
- Implement Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) and EHCP targets
- Use de-escalation and co-regulation approaches during challenging situations
- Build strong, consistent relationships with pupils to improve engagement and attendance
- Support transitions between lessons, break times and learning environments
- Assist teaching staff with tailored learning activities
- Record observations and contribute to progress and behaviour tracking systems
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH, ASC or behavioural needs
- Calm, patient and emotionally resilient approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
