Start: ASAP Full Time – 5 days per week Long-Term Role – until the end of the calendar year £160 – £220 per day PAYE A welcoming and supportive primary school in the Bedford area is looking to appoint a highly experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team ASAP.
The school is looking for a confident and resilient teacher with excellent behaviour management skills and experience working with challenging behaviour.
Your Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective KS2 lessons
- Manage challenging behaviour confidently, calmly, and consistently
- Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- Support pupils with a range of learning and behavioural needs
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of individual pupils
- Work closely with colleagues to support pupil progress and wellbeing
Essential Job Requirements
- QTS or relevant teaching qualification
- Strong experience teaching across Key Stage 2
- Highly experienced in managing challenging behaviour
- Confident and consistent classroom management skills
- Calm, resilient, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for supporting pupils and helping them achieve their potential
