Teaching Assistant – Bridport

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to work within a welcoming Year 4 class in a primary school in Bridport.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school environment, with the potential for 1:1 support opportunities for pupils with additional needs.

The role:

  • Supporting pupils within a Year 4 classroom
  • Working closely with the class teacher to support learning and development
  • Providing targeted 1:1 support where required
  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs
  • Helping create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
  • Full-time and part-time opportunities may be available

The ideal candidate:

  • Has previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or within a school setting
  • Has experience supporting children with SEN/SEND – preferred but not essential
  • Is confident supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis
  • Is patient, caring, reliable and enthusiastic
  • Has a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
  • Is based in Bridport or the surrounding areas
  • Is happy to commute for the right opportunity

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
