Teaching Personnel is recruiting Secondary School P.E. Teachers to teach Physical Education (P.E.) at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) across a range of secondary schools. These P.E. teacher jobs include both short-term supply teaching and long-term P.E. teaching roles, offering flexibility and opportunities for career progression.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Secondary P.E. Teacher with a strong classroom and sports hall demeanour and a passion for delivering high-quality Physical Education. This role is ideal for a teacher who wants to make a real difference by promoting fitness, teamwork, and lifelong healthy habits in students.
Role Responsibilities – Secondary P.E. Teacher:
- Teach P.E. at KS3 and KS4 across a variety of sports and physical activities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, differentiated, and practical P.E. lessons
- Maintain excellent classroom and sports hall management and positive behaviour standards
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress in P.E.
- Inspire students to develop physical skills, teamwork, and confidence
- Promote a culture of health, fitness, and well-being
Person Specification:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching P.E. in secondary schools
- Confident presence in both classroom and sports environments with strong behaviour management skills
- Passion for sports, physical education, and student development
- Commitment to raising attainment and supporting student achievement
