Key duties:
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group mentoring support
- Build positive and trusting relationships with students
- Support emotional regulation and behaviour management strategies
- Encourage engagement in learning and school activities
- Promote confidence, resilience, and self‑esteem
- Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, pastoral teams, and external professionals
- Record and monitor student progress and wellbeing
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults
- Backgrounds in youth work, support work, coaching, care, education, mentoring, or mental health support are highly desirable
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach
- The ability to remain positive and professional in challenging situations
- A genuine passion for supporting young people
