Teaching Personnel is supporting a highly regarded and growing secondary school in Basingstoke with the appointment of a Teacher of Business Studies or Subject Leader of Business Studies. The classroom-teacher position is suitable for ECTs, while the Subject Leader opportunity would suit an experienced practitioner ready to lead the subject or take their next step in middle leadership. The Role Depending on the level of appointment, you will: Deliver engaging Business Studies lessons Make business concepts relevant through contemporary examples Plan, assess and monitor student progress Maintain high expectations for learning and achievement Develop students’ commercial awareness and analytical skills Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental improvement Work collaboratively through shared planning and reflective practice Support enrichment and opportunities beyond the classroom The ability to teach IT, Computer Science or Economics at KS3 would be advantageous but is not essential.
