We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistants to join a specialist SEN school in Basingstoke, supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to support pupils’ learning, development, and wellbeing. You will play a vital role in helping students access education in a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SEN
  • Assist with classroom activities and adapted learning tasks
  • Support pupils with communication, social skills, and emotional regulation
  • Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
  • Follow individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies

  • Patient, caring, and reliable
